This page provides a link to the Equal Treatment Bench Book. This Bench Book, which contains guidance for the judiciary, was published in December 2002. It records, after consultation with organisations working in the field of equal treatment, what is understood to be current best practice.

The organisations consulted are listed in Appendix I to the Bench Book. The members of the Working Group of the JSC who drafted the Bench Book are listed in Appendix II to the Bench Book.
